Cracker Jacks day nursery is a privately owned nursery with excellent ethical principles to promote quality nursery provision. The following of our principles will be found in every aspect of the childcare we provide. This includes: the environmentally friendly nursery we have designed, the staff we employ, the food we serve and the policies and procedures to which we adhere.
Our new nursery has been carefully designed to maximise the care, play and learning environment for your child. To create a child friendly space we have maximised resources for both indoor and outdoor play opportunities. Safety features are a high priority including emergency exits and security doors.
Our nursery is designed to provide a stimulating environment which will bring out the best in your child’s development. A caring, sharing, learning and fun environment is created and encouraged to ensure your child thrives as an individual.
We know it can be daunting to choose a nursery for your child and understand the anxiety this decision can bring, as you will be leaving your child in someone else’s care for the first time. Therefore, our aim is to provide a high standard of childcare and education.
The nursery has a unique environment in which children are actively encouraged to explore, learn and to interact with others.
We cater for children aged from 8 weeks to 5 years, opening from 8.00am until 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year. We close for all statutory bank holidays and between Christmas and the New Year.
We pride ourselves on being a very flexible day nursery and will cater to the hours that suit you. Our minimum requirement is one and a half days or 3 morning or afternoon sessions. We also cater for full time and part time places and provide freshly – cooked nursery lunch and tea with a variety of snacks on offer throughout the day for all children.
